It’s my strong belief that everyone needs support through every kind of life transition. Birth, parenthood, postpartum, conception, grief/loss - they are all equally tender and warranting of specially tailored care. It’s incredibly important to me to create individualized, person-centred care plans for you and your family. I work one-on-one with my clients to plan, relationship build, answer questions, and ensure they are receiving the best guidance and support I can offer.

I recognize that families can be created in so many different and equally beautiful ways. I also know that many queer and trans folks face difficult barriers in the medical system when wanting to start a family and/or throughout pregnancy. I am especially passionate about working with you and your family to make sure that you receive the quality care during this time that you need and deserve. 

My doula work is firmly rooted in principles of reproductive justice, anti-racism, and harm reduction- as taught by Birthing Advocacy (October 2020). Before coming to this work, I was a nanny and care worker for many years. I was further called to explore birthwork by witnessing the many intersections between birth/reproductive care and the political world. In my practice, I bring an understanding of different systems of oppression and how our societal structures impact reproduction, pregnancy, and birth. It’s my promise that the space we share together will be anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, inclusive, and affirming of you and your choices.
